Senior Congress Leader Siddaramaiah on 16th Feb 2023 urged Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai immediately to initiate action against C.N. Ashwath Narayana to remove him from the cabinet.
As per Congress leader Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Minister C.N. Ashwath Narayana is trying to bring people to kill him as he took exception to his statement that he should be “Knocked out and sent off” like the 18th century ruler of Mysore kingdom, Tipu Sultan.
The opposition leader of congress was referring to Ashwath Narayana’s recent remark in Mandya that was targeting Siddaramaiah. Karnataka Minister C.N. Ashwath Narayana said ‘Tipu’s son Siddaramaiah will come, Do you want Tipu or Savarkar? What did Uri Gowda and Nanje Gowda do? In a rally, a Congress leader asked “Are they people or demons” and said that BJP has failed to secure a majority.
Siddaramaiah said Kannadigas will never let Karnataka become like Gujarat.
Requesting Bommai to immediately dismiss Narayana from the cabinet and arrest him. “If no action is taken, it only means that the BJP agrees with the appeal and thinks that Ashwath Narayana has become Mentally Ill”.
Congress Leader Siddaramaiah mentioned has the Gujarat BJP culture slowly evolved into Karnataka BJP as well. And asked whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi will remain silent as he was in 2022. With all these statements he fell into controversy and opposition party leaders reacted, especially the Congress Narayana said attempts are being made to present his statement.
Karnataka Minister C.N. Ashwath Narayana said “People will not accept such things and he has never tried to divide the society in the name of religion or caste” he just defeated in the election through votes, and it was not any personal comment to hurt Siddaramaiah.
At last Congress leader Siddaramaiah said, I will not file any case, but it is a fit case where police have to take action against C.N. Ashwath Narayana. For the Public, such issues from these leaders do not carry any value other than entertainment and their career in Politics.
