Thief remains a thief’’: Uddhav Thackeray said as Shinde gets Bow-Arrow
The Election Commission (EC) decision recognized that Eknath Shinde was real Shiv Sena was on expected lines, said former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on 17th Feb 2023.
Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray said that the real Shiv sena was “Dangerous for Democracy.”
And he would challenge the Supreme Court. Uddhav after the EC decision accused the poll panel of becoming the Union Government’s slave.
EC allowed the Uddhav Thackeray faction to keep the “Flaming Torch” till the completion of the assembly bypolls in the state as it ordered the allocation of Shiv Sena’s “Bow and Arrow” symbol which was led by Shinde.
The party members and people were with Uddhav and said that “Let the thieves enjoy for a few days” and should not react. The Supreme Court is the last hope to ensure that democracy is alive in the country. Also, Uddhav Thackeray added saying if this hope vanished, then he would stop holding elections and stand for a One-Man rule.
The Election Commission said MLAs backing Eknath Shinde got nearly 76% of votes polled in favour of the 55 Shiv Sena candidates in the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly polls.
Shinde said Uddhav Thackeray that “Modi Ji name is celebrated all across the country and he stands on number 1 political leader as per recent Global Survey. Words like these won’t bring PM Modi’s popularity down.
The celebration was started by Shinde near a camp outside the CM office, and Uddhav gathered supporters outside the Matoshree. The Uddhav faction’s MLAs got 23.5% of votes polled in favour of the winning Shiv Sena candidates the member Commission said as a decision.
After all these Uddhav said that “The Shiv Sena will rise again and this will not be an End, Maharashtra has always fought against injustice and people will teach the thieves a lesson”.
