Lakhimpur Kheri Case In link with the death of four villagers and a reporter (FIR number 219/2021) in Tikunia city of the district on October 3, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) questioning the Lakhimpur Kheri crime case. Complained 14 suspected, along with MoS Home Ajay Kumar Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra. On Monday, the criminal complaint was filed. SP Yadav, the senior prosecutor, stated.

The SIT has identified and detained 13 suspects in the FIR filed with the Tikunia kotwal. The identity of the 14th suspect, Virendra Shukla, was added to the case. The complaint filed under Section 201 of the IPC, according to the senior prosecutor. Shukla, on the other hand, was yet to be apprehended. Farmers protested the visit of UP deputy commissioner Keshav Prasad Maurya to Mishra’s hometown. It was help on October 3 last year, resulting in violence. Four agitating farmers were killed by a car. While four more were slain in the ensuing violence, along with a reporter and two BJP workers.

The prosecution filed a motion in the court under Section 173 of the CrPC. Requesting that copies of certain papers supplied to the defendants in the Tikunia assault case be limited. According to SP Yadav, SPO, the police requested that copies of the incident diary.

However, Amaan Ahmad, the lawyer for the Lakhimpur Kheri growers, expressed his discontent with the SIT’s inquiry. We are dissatisfied with the investigation because the identity of MoS Home Ajay Mishra ‘Teni’ was not included in the court filing even though his name was stated in our complaint. Teni is also the owner of the SUV that gunned down the farmers. While talking to the media, he stated, “We will petition to the judiciary for a deeper inspection into the situation.”
