Goa Liberation Day 2021, Pm Narendra Modi will arrive in Goa on Sunday to participate in Goa Liberation Day celebrations at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Taleigao.
The PM will honor the freedom fighters and survivors of ‘Operation Vijay’ on the occasion, according to the PMO. Each year on this day, Goa Liberation Day honours India’s military victory. Operation Vijay,’ which liberated Goa from Portuguese domination.
The newly rebuilt Fort Aguada Jail Museum, the New South Goa District Hospital, the Super – specialty Block at Goa Medical University, the Gas-insulated Substation at Dabolim-Navelim, and the Aviation Skill Development Center at Mopa Airport, Margao will also be inaugurated by the Prime Minister. In Goa, he also will lay the cornerstone for the Bar Council of India Trust’s India International University of Legal Research and Education.
The Prime Minister has worked tirelessly to develop a health system and deliver world-class medical facilities throughout the country. The Super Speciality Block at Goa Medical College and Hospital was built underneath the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana program. The cost of approximately Rs 380 crore to support this aim.
It is the state’s sole state-of-the-art multispeciality hospital, delivering high-end super specialty services. It will offer specialized procedures such as angioplasty, gastric bypass, liver transplantation, kidney transplantation, and dialysis, among others. A 1000 LPM PSA plant will be installed as PM-CARES in the Super – specialty Block.
The Museum will be a suitable memorial to the contributions and efforts made by the notable freedom warriors. They battled for the liberation of Goa. The Aviation Skill Development Center, which will be erected near the forthcoming Mopa Airport for roughly Rs. 8.5 crore, would train people for 16 different types of jobs. And at other facilities in India and overseas, once it is open.
