The letter basically throws light at the grievance of legislators and also deals with the fact that why they were unhappy with the party leadership. The letter states claiming that Chief Minister was inaccessible for its legislators, Uddhav Thackeray inccer circle refused Chief Minister from meeting law makers. Without taking the names of ‘coterie’ members, the Aurangabad MLA considered them to be elected for legislative council and Rajya Sabha.
Invoking the feeling of Babasaheb Thackeray, Sanjay Shirshat said his letter was a response to the emotional speech said by Uddhav Thackeray where he failed to answer the fundamental question and Concerns. “It felt good to see Varsha bungalow’s doors opened for the first time yesterday. These doors had been closed for us for last two and a half years. We had to seek permission from those who were not even elected members.” ‘We are asked to wait for long hours outside Varsha bungalow. want to question, why are legislators who have been supported by 3-4 lakh voters are being insulted like this.’ He further added that ”if the Chief Minister has no time to meet us then what would they go back and tell our electorate.”
Accusing the CM’s absence from secretariat the MLA claims, ‘he used to be in Matoshree (Thackeray residence). We used to call people around the CM but they never used to attend our calls. We were fed up with all these things & persuaded Eknath Shinde to take this step’. He further in the letter questions Shiv Sena stack on hindutva where he asks about Shiv Sena agenda on Ram mandir and Ayodhya by asking “Why were we stopped from going to Ayodhya when Aditya Thackeray visited the city? You had called several MLAs and asked us not to visit Ayodhya. Why were we not allowed to visit Ram Mandir?’
