Aryan Khan Hearing Accusations Against Wankhede

Aryan Khan, actor Shah Rukh Khan‘s son, has been rescheduled by the Bombay high court. The hearing was in connection with the seizure of drugs on a cruise ship on October 2. Khan has asked for bail three times since being arrested on October 3 with seven others. Aryan’s defence team, led by former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi. He told the Supreme Court on Tuesday that there was no evidence; against him in the drugs case and that he was wrongfully jailed.

The 23-year-old was invited on the trip as a special guest. According to Rohatgi, no narcotics were found on him. He further mentioned that Aryan was not subjected; to any kind of medical examination to prove that he had used narcotics. Sameer Wankhede, is the zonal head of the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB); Mumbai unit and the key investigator in the cruise drugs case. He is facing a litany of allegations, including claims of corruption.

Nawab Malik, a Maharashtra minister and leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), accused Wankhede of using a forged caste certificate. He said that Wankhede used the forged caste certificate to obtain a government post under the reserved quota system. Malik claimed he received a letter from an unnamed NCB employee on Tuesday. He alleged that Wankhede had falsely accused innocent people in 26 narcotics cases.   The NCB rejected to investigate the anonymous letter that was addressed to Nawab Malik and forwarded to NCB Director General SN Pradhan on Tuesday. In the wake of the allegations against Sameer Wankhede, BJP national secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said that Maharashtra government officials are influenced by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
